The wider world

The church community is involved in the following activities and organisations:

Christian Aid

Christian Aid is the Church of England's relief agency, working with the poor in many countries around the globe, and engaging in education and campaigning work in the UK. St Tim's supports Christian Aid through the annual street collection, and takes part in campaigns. To find out more about what Christian Aid is doing around the world, visit their website: www.christian-aid.org.uk

Traidcraft

Traidcraft is a business which imports goods from the Third World and sells them in Britain under terms of Fair Trade which benefit the producers. In St Tims we have a Traidcraft stall after church, selling tea, coffee, a wide range of other foods, and some cards and handicrafts. For more information on the work of Traidcraft, check out their website: www.traidcraft.co.uk

Trade Justice Movement

Look out for opportunities to campaign for Trade Justice in church this Autumn. To find out more about the campaign, which is sponsored by Christian Aid, World Development Movement and others, check out their website: www.tjm.org.uk
